About Julie Taing:
Before Adouré Beauty (formerly called Julie Taing Artistry), Julie Taing was a professional makeup artist working in the industry for over 15 years.
Her career began at Sephora working as a color expert and quickly made the Sephora Pro Team (Team of 12 Elite artists that represent Sephora internally and externally from fashion week, celebrity, product development, artistry mentorship, literally every job you can think of we were a part of).
She spent 10 years on the team and 2 years as the Sephora Pro Lead Artist mentoring the team. She dedicated 10 years of her career traveling 80% of the year educating and sharing her passion for beauty artistry.
She has had the honor of working with celebrities, influencers, musicians, fellow artists, and also assisting some of the top artists around the world. Her work has been featured in magazines, campaigns, fashion week, and on the red carpet.
Her passion for creative artistry, education, and desire to have more work-life balance motivated her to pursue a career in permanent tattoo and grow some roots back in San Diego.
Adouré Beauty officially launched in 2018 with a mission to help everyone discover their true essence through ink. Our dream is to merge permanent makeup with wellness for a complete beauty experience from the physical to the inner beauty within.
Julie is advanced certified in permanent brows (micro blading, powder, ombrè), tattoo removal, lip blush, and dark lip correction.
She is a Lip Blush Master Trainer and launched her training course in 2020. Julie spent many years with Sephora writing programs for all levels of artistry and trained hundreds of students that it came naturally to her to want to continue educating in the permanent makeup world.
